Mr. Hustle

My name is Mark. You wouldn't know it from this blog, but I enjoy writing. When I played recreational sports as a child, I'd consistently get the "Mr. Hustle" award - a distinction that went to the player that always comes to practice and tries his best. It was not until I was older that I realized I kept getting this award because I sucked, and the coaches needed to give me SOMETHING come awards time at the end of the season barbecue. I now embrace the title because it sounds like a cool Hip-Hop alias. Also, I'm still a terrible athlete.

I’m not saying that we’re better or greater, or comparing us with Jesus Christ as a person or God as a thing or whatever it is. I just said what I said and it was wrong. Or it was taken wrong. And now it’s all this.

John Lennon, backpedaling from his comment that the Beatles were “more popular than Jesus.” In John’s defense, The Beatles: Rock Band is a religious experience. It does everything a video game should do right. Go and play it. NOW.
