This occurred to me when I realized we’re competing with the NFC Championship game for an audience tonight. Though both bring me great joy, there isn’t a lot of overlap between Improv and Football. Other than similarities between running a no-huddle offense and making scenes up as we go along. Except we don’t have set “plays” for this type of situation. And we all take turns playing quarterback. And there’s no defense.
This is what happens when you take a metaphor too far.
