Mr. Hustle

My name is Mark. You wouldn't know it from this blog, but I enjoy writing. When I played recreational sports as a child, I'd consistently get the "Mr. Hustle" award - a distinction that went to the player that always comes to practice and tries his best. It was not until I was older that I realized I kept getting this award because I sucked, and the coaches needed to give me SOMETHING come awards time at the end of the season barbecue. I now embrace the title because it sounds like a cool Hip-Hop alias. Also, I'm still a terrible athlete.

Dan Harmon Walks Us Through Community's Second Season

I love Community. This episode-by-episode walkthrough by creator Dan Harmon is really representative about what makes the show so special. The level of thought and detail into character and plot choices is just so admirable. Harmon’s openness to the concept of the show being flawed is really refreshing and encouraging. Don’t read it if you haven’t seen the show, but if you have - it’s really fascinating. At least to me.
